About Me
I am a devoted father, husband, and seasoned leader with over two decades of experience in the United States Army. My passion for leadership and management began early in my career and has been a driving force throughout my professional life. I take pride in my ability to build and continuously develop teams that are committed to leadership visions and organizational goals.
As a natural problem solver, I am adept at transitioning effortlessly between multiple complex tasks. Throughout my military career, I have completed the basic, advanced, senior, and master levels of the Army's Noncommissioned Officer leadership development system and received awards for my distinguished leadership and motivation skills.
My experience in leadership is extensive, having held various leadership positions, including Senior Enlisted Advisor, First Sergeant, and Operations Sergeant. In these roles, I managed and supervised large teams and implemented strategies that increased productivity and readiness. I am proud of the many teams I direcly led through many successful contingency operations. Together, we completed more than 3,000 logistics missions spanning the liberation of Iraq, establishment of a new government, and final turnover of operations and control to the Federal Parliamentary Government of Iraq.
My passion for leadership and management is matched only by my dedication to training and development. As a Master Resiliency Trainer, I have experience in developing resilience in the emotional, cognitive and mental, physical, and spiritual domains by teaching self-awareness, self-regulation, optimism, mental agility, strengths of character, and fostering connection. I believe that training and mentorship are key to building successful teams, and I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge and experience to help others achieve their full potential.
As a lifelong learner, I have amassed more than 190 semester hours of college and hold an Associates in General Studies. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of General Studies, an Associates in Computer Information Systems, and a C++ Programming Certification from Columbia College. In addition, I hold a Lean Six Sigma White Belt certification from the accredited Aveta Business Institute.
When I'm not leading teams, I enjoy spending time with my family, sharpening my computer programming skills, and staying active in my children's education. I look forward to using my leadership, management, and training skills to make a positive impact on any organization that values dedication and excellence.
